I’ve been a State Farm agent for 25 years now since I first opened my agency doors in 2000. All told, I have over 45 years of insurance experience with State Farm, and I’m proud to serve the residents of Columbia, SC and the surrounding area, including Blythewood. My agency offers homeowners insurance, auto insurance, business insurance, life insurance, financial services and more.

The most important thing to know about me is that I believe in going the extra mile. Most often, that means taking the time to explain the details of insurance to our customers—from choosing a policy to understanding the claims process. But going the extra mile has also meant changing a tire for a customer when roadside assistance can’t get there—or assisting an elderly customer with fixing the address on her home so that it’s visible to emergency responders. I’m here to help in any way I can, and I’m proud to have earned the respect and confidence of my customers. I’m always looking for new ways to pitch in, and I love helping people protect the things that matter most to them.

I started with State Farm in data processing and worked in various other positions—including as an agency field representative—before finally realizing my dream of opening my own agency. I truly learned this business from the ground up. I’m originally from St. Augustine, FL, and attended the University of North Florida as an undergrad before settling in Lugoff, SC about 20 years ago.

I’m married to my beautiful wife Kim and we have three grown children. In my free time I enjoy golf, spending time outdoors, traveling, and attending lots of concerts! I'm also an aviation buff, and earned my private pilot license at the age of 24, and also did some skydiving. My team and I look forward to helping you any way we can!
